Dogs For Adoption

Amber

This is Amber, she has come to us from the pound, at 4 months old and is a shy girl. She loves affection and being out side and playing with other dogs. Amber is house trained, kennel trained and soon to be lead trained. Amber needs a family who has time to give her the attention she needs and allow her to be outside alot of the time.

Pit Bulls The little black girl has always been the most precocious of the litter.  She was first to learn everything from discovering how to get out of the whelping box on her own, doing stairs, and now getting over the staircase gate.  She is most inquisitive, and independent.  She is very busy unless she's sleeping and will require a family who will be willing to spend a lot of time with her. She loves to discover new things, is scared of nothing, and would make a great agility dog.  This dog needs room to run, and lots of attention from her new owners.
Pit Bulls The little "Chunky Munky" black Leopard spotted Pittty male is such a sweet boy.  He is very people oriented, and prefers people attention above all else.  He is a bit of a food hog and it shows.  He is submissive to the girls in the litter but will protect his possessions fiercely.  This boy thinks all the toys, food bowls, bones etc. are his.  He makes little stashes in corners to save for later.  This little guy loves tummy rubs and flips over on his back to get one on a regular basis.  He also loves retrieving almost anything.  This puppy loves cuddles and human company.  He'd fit into any family with ease.
Pit Bull The little tan girl with white blaze on her throat and face was one of the last born babies.  She has always been a wee bit smaller than the other girls but is making up for lost time quickly. She is active but loves people attention alot.  She loves to play tug o' war with ropes and toys.  She is a follower more than a leader, but would fit into any family easily.  This one has that real Pitbull look.
Pit Bull The rusty brown female with the dark facial markings is going to be a big boned solid girl.  She stands out in the crowd!  She is a striking dog with very distinctive coloring and facial markings.  This girl craves human attention and is always one of the first one to clamor for cuddles and pats.  She is a leader in the group and would do best in a one dog family.  She likes all the attention to herself if she can get it.  She is a good listener, and takes cues from humans well.  She loves to go for walks outside with people and has lots of energy.
The light blue female is the instigator of the bunch.  She is gorgeous!  She's the bossy "Diva " who is always trying to get everyone in the litter to do it her way.  She would do best in a one dog family, as she wants all the attention to revolve around her.  This girl needs good solid rules to abide by and will thrive with obedience training to set some rules for her.  She's a headstrong girl, who needs lots of room to run and play!
The dark blue female is just a joy!  She is kind and loves cuddles.  She will follow you anywhere and try so hard to please you!  She will fit into any family situation, and would be great with children.  She is an active puppy, but prefers her own space.  She is often seen contentedly chewing on a favorite toy while all the others a rabble-rousing  in the play yard.  She prefers human company over puppy play, but does roughhouse with others as well.  This girl is beautiful!
The Dam of this litter is a chocolate brown leopard pitbull.  She is a very loyal girl and a great mother.  The Sire is a line bred, blue dog, with white facial blaze from the Razors Edge line.  He is only 1 !/2 yrs old and is a BIG dog.  The parents and puppies have been fostered in a home environment from the age of 3 weeks.  Mom has now been surrendered to the Edmonton Humane Society and we hope someone will come forward to offer her a stable loving home.  Her original owner moved numerous times and has left the province!  Mom's name is Eden and she is totally housebroken and desparate to belong to a stable family who can give her the attention she deserves.  She is used to many people around her in a work environment, but needs obedience training to stop her from jumping up on people when she greets them.  Please visit the Edmonton Humane Society and ask about her!
